Groovin’High Records is the Audio arm of Laser Swing Productions, a well-know Jazz Video production company since 1987.

Laser Swing Productions was founded by Mr Norman Granz (most famous, concert producer – Jazz at the Philharmonic, record producer ­- Verve & Pablo records, artist manager – Ella Fitzgerald , Oscar Peterson…), Mr. Frank Ténot (most famous radio Jazz anchor in France, owner of Jazz Magazine & VP of Hachette-Filipacchi Publishing ) and Jacques Muyal.

On suggestion of Dizzy Gillespie, our dear personal friend, Jacques Muyal and later Larry Clothier ( manager and record producer of such great artists as Sarah Vaughan, Carmen Mc Rae , Roy Hargrove and Roberta Gambarini ) the Audio label Groovin’High was created in 1992 , which name is a tribute
to our master. The label did licensing of the recordings to Major Distributors.
